You can make the BEST of any day by doing what you need to do (and doing it WELL) ... and then doing a LITTLE something to TREAT yourself -- to LET you bring a little happiness into your life -- and to reassure your SELF-WORTH and Confidence.

I am going to be SINGLE once again this Valentine's Day (like so many before this one -- I'm now an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree) ... and I am going to TREAT myself to a Steak and Lobster Dinner (which I am going to cook myself). I'm also going to enjoy a bit of the day too (With my Digital SLR camera -- I am going to go out and find something quirky and just BE creative) ... and then going to enjoy the PEACE and QUIET of MY OWN HOME in the evening.

THAT is how I will make the BEST of Valentine's Day (and just any day in general). So even though I'll be ALONE -- I do not feel 'bad' about it (or depressed either).

Am I going to be alone forever?

hey !! if you keep that mentality you will end up alone forever ! First, you should start changing the way you look at yourself , maybe you're not really ugly , maybe its just the way you see yourself. And it sounds to me like you've got low self esteem , really low self esteem. You should start there, build your self esteem, you're you and you'll never change, and someone will like you for who you are, not for what you look like. Second, you need to do what you like to do. I wouldn't care if what I'm doing isn't "cool". I like to do it, hence I do it. I spend most of my time with 2 smokers, its been like a year now, and I haven't smoked a cigarette, and I'm sure I wouldn't never do it. Smoking to a lot of people is cool, I don't find it cool, I don't do it. Plain and Simple. Therefore what I'm trying to say is that you should indulge more in these activities of yours, you're not the only one who enjoy these activities. And third, if you keep telling yourself that your ugly and masculine looking and gross you'll end up alone. Even if it's the truth, it shouldn't stop you from living your life. Most people go through that period especially during their teenage years. You're 16, you've got your whole life ahead of you. I say you go out there and enjoy it. Good Luck !
