Cuddle Up Day is an opportunity to snuggle up to someone on a cold winters' day or night. Chances are it's cold outside. So, cozy up to a special someone, and enjoy the warmth and love. This day is enjoyed by both young and old.

Of course, you do not have to cuddle up with someone......

Cuddling up in your easy chair is a great idea.

Cuddling up to a pet is rewarding.

Cuddling up to a stuffed animal is quite secure and comforting.

Cuddling up with a good book is enjoyable.

Cuddling up by the fireside is warm and cozy.

But, nothing will beat cuddling up with a special someone.

Yes, its Compliment Day. Today is a great opportunity to say something positive about the people you come into contact with. Everyone has good attributes. ...that's right....... everyone.

Its a cinch to find compliments for family and loved ones, even for your Mother-in-Law. (Tip: She's probably a good cook.)

Friends are friends because you see something good about them. Here's an easy compliment to a friend: "Wow, you're very intelligent...you choose your friends wisely".

It's more challenging to compliment your boss, or people you don't like. Take up the challenge, and find a compliment for them today, too.

Remember: Mama said "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything". After a long search for something good, if you just can't find a compliment for them, then silence is golden.

Compliment Day is celebrated by offering sincere compliments to people you know. It is important that you are sincere. People will see right through insincerity, and you will do more harm than good.

How many compliments should you give out today? The common suggestion is five compliments. Yes, they should be to five different people.

Today is Random Acts of Kindness Day. And, you know what to do...perform a few random acts of kindness. Almost any kind deed will do. And, we highly recommend you perform kind acts on as many people as you can.

This is a favorite day of many people and groups. People like the idea of showing a little kindness to others. Its a fun and good thing to do. And, they like being on the receiving end of this day as well. It makes both the giver and the receiver feel good.

Schools have used this day as an educational event, and to promote the value of kindness. Organizations have used this day to promote their cause, and for fundraisers.

"I Want You to be Happy Day" is an unselfish day. Its a thought that we wish upon others that we care for or love.

Celebrate today by doing more than wishing someone is happy. Do something to make others happy. It can start with an Ecard that will put a smile on someone's face. Other ideas include a phone call, making positive compliments, or cooking a special meal. Be creative. There are endless ways to make others happy.

Have You Hugged Someone Today? (It's National Hug Day)?

Yep I did :D I've been off school ill alot this week, so today in school this boy (kind of friend, not just a random stranger lol), came and gave me a hug and said "Glad you're feeling abit better, I've missed you this week!" I thought it was nice, and it cheered me up :) It wasn't awkward. Also, my little sister hugged me lots today, but then she always does lol.

I didn't know it was National Hugs day though! Happy Hugs day! :D
