I've been to Jersey a couple of times and, to be honest, a week is probably enough - especially as the weather can be very changeable and it can change quite quickly too.

I would definitely recommend a visit to Jersey Zoo and, if the weather's good enough, the beach at St Brelade is a good spot for a bit of sunbathing. The German Underground Hospital is also worth a visit and, with it being, erm, underground (it does what it says on the tin!) you could go there if there's wet stuff coming out of the sky. There are also quite a few places telling the story of the German occupation, which are interesting if you like that sort of thing. If you're staying in St Helier, there are some pretty nice restaurants and bars but unfortunately I can't remember any to recommend.

Going to Cape May New Jersey Next week. Needing Ideas for a day trip. Shuttle is closed, car or walking?

I'm sure if you google Cape May you will find a lot of activities are planned since its Halloween week..ghost tours, I'm sure of since some of the houses are said to be haunted..like Congress Hall and the Macomber hotel.

Just about everything is within walking distance in town.

The Cape May zoo is in Cape May courthouse, you will need a car to get to it, that's a nice day trip.
