Looking for the best BBQ places in Vegas?

There are a lot of steakhouses that include barbecue, but I'd go for a place that specializes in BBQ like Famous Dave's. It's a national chain rather than a hidden local gem, but it is decent. There's also the Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer at the Excaliber which isn't bad. As far as I could tell though, Las Vegas isn't a great place for finding BBQ.

How much should I pay? How much should I keep?

How much should I pay? How much should I keep?

I would recommend that you pay off the entire amount before you leave for BMT. First, you will be so happy when that debt is gone. Second, your pay during BMT will be very little, and it won't come immediately. Third, you are going to be so busy during BMT that it would be very easy to forget to make a payment and that would be a bummer.

If you owe $1,800, divide by 5 to get $360 per month in payments. Round up to $400 to account for interest and to make the final payment a little smaller. If you make $800 per month for June and July, and pay $400 each month towards your card, you will still have $800 in spending money for your trip.

Also, one of the best things about working in a restaurant is the ability to make a little extra money easily. See if anyone wants to give up a shift, go in early and volunteer to stay late. If you are a waiter, be the best darn waiter than you can be. Always volunteer to take the late tables and you'll often find you make half the night's money after everyone else has left.

Good luck to you.
