Angeline, look up "nonprofits" in your local phone book. These are philanthropic organizations that provide a variety of services in your community. Make a list of the ones that do work that interests you -- could be a children's cancer organization, or one for humane treatment of animals, or a botanical garden or friends of local libraries. Contact the organizations that interest you and tell them that you and your parents would like to arrange for you to do some of the work from home. You can stuff envelopes for a large mailing, put together stewardship packages or other tasks of their choosing.

We shouldn't! We shouldn't be paying for their children's education either.
Unfortunately, what is done is done. The people that were elected in the last election are all for supporting the illegal immigrants and many other things that are pretty scary.

I think everyone is getting angry now with all that has happened with the banking community, the car industry and the trillions he has spent in just a couple of months.
I think it is very frightening and in my 60 plus yrs I've never seen anything like it. We are in the country and stocking up on extra non perishable food and water, etc in case worst comes to worst. At least we have our chickens, cow and garden...
If he starts price setting like the Venzuelan dictator did we will have severe shortages of both food and fuel. He has already done something to the price of raw milk and many large dairies have already gone out of business. When I bought my chicks I had to 'register' with my social sec etc and I asked if this was because of bird flu and they said no it is FEMA??? What? Are they going to pick up my chickens if they need them to feed the illegals??
