There's absolutely nothing cooler (metaphorically, rather than in regards to temperature), than a guy with big amounts of facial hair. World Beard Day takes mustaching to extremes of length, shade, shape and design. I work at Walt Disney World Resorts, along with 50,000 other cast members. If you are interested in getting a job, you should go to their webiste or to the casting building across from Downtown Disney.

I needed to respond to the person that posted above me though because they are flat wrong.

First off, do you or have you worked for Disney? I've worked for Disney for years and I love my job. I think it's a blast and I have fun every day. As for our union, all we ask for is better treatment but we don't go on strike. Can you imagine what would happen if unionized cast members went on strike?

About the facial hair comment...that is true and false at the same time. Men are allowed to have neatly trimmed mustaches, but no beards are allowed. Yes Disney has a somewhat strict look for its cast members, but it is only to help maintain the atmosphere. I can't imagine going to Disney and seeing somebody with a scraggly beard and purple hair working at an attraction. That would just go against everything Disney works towards.

Lastly, while I have never heard of competitive scrabble, thats besides that point. I'm sure that Disney had a very good reason for not hosting your competition. Walt Disney World is a family resort and unfortunately I can imagine there are tons of words in the dictionary that goes against the family atmosphere that Disney tries so hard to forge.

As for your comment "This coming from a company that condones Gay Day and has special days set aside for the gay community to come there and strut their stuff," you are grossly misinformed. Walt Disney World Resorts does not sponsor, or "condone" as you put it, Gay Days.

Gay Days is organized by an independent group, not affiliated with Disney, which arranges for thousands of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and straight guests to visit the Magic Kingdom and other Disney parks a few days a year. So as for your assertion that they "obviously support" Gay Days, it's completely off base. The Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual Community Center of Orlando (GLBCC) (amongst other smaller organizations) sponsors Gay Days, and has independently from Disney since 1991.

Walt Disney World Resorts does not discriminate against people that enter its parks, but is responsible for what happens on it's property. Since all that happens during Gay Days is thousands of Gay and Lesbians visiting the parks for a few days a. Since there are no special events in the parks and Disney does not discriminate against its guests. There is no reason for Disney to not allow Gay Days to continue.

However, it is up to their own discretion as to what groups they allow to host organized events on their property. Because the scrabble dictionary contains inappropriate words, Disney is well within their rights to deny your application to host your tournament on their property.

Anyway, I'm sorry that this is so long, and possibly jumbled up a bit, but I simply couldn't go with you bashing Disney without any other side being heard.

Are bearded dragons active?

Bearded dragons are like dogs in the lizard world. They are very active during the day. They do bask though, so some people say they are lazy, when really they are just sun bathing. They love to go after food, and its fun to watch them. Mine will run around my room. Adults are calmer than babies. Babies are wild little things lol! They start getting their own lil' personality at around 8 weeks old. I always let my two beardies lay on my chest and sleep at night on me. They don't move at all at night, so I just cover them up with a blanket and they are fast asleep when the lights go out! I wouldn't suggest falling asleep with them there though, that would be dangerous if you roll over or something. I hope I helped and good luck!. :)
