Difference is, we don't have Thanksgiving dinner like the Americans do. And ordinary Japanese people don't make it such a big deal. It's just a holiday but we don't really actually celebrate it the traditional way. It is more of a commemoration rather than a celebration. We also don't have that black Friday thing.
