I had a Life-Long battle with Oral neglect/Dentists, pain, fillings ETC, ETC.

I finally had a Young Dentist that "Inherited" my account and other patients when my "Family" Dentist took Ill and sold out his practice.

The new Dentist had a payment plan with an Independent Financial Group that offered NO Interest Loans to his patients.

I had "as I could afford the notes" root canals and crowns on the really critical teeth when FILLINGS just wouldn't work any more. I did get fillings from time to time to postpone the time to get another crown where needed.

I finally ended up to this day, with only 1 natural "complete but with many fillings" tooth (a Jaw Tooth) Top-Left left in my mouth!

The Top Teeth that are left (10) are crowns and only 1 as mentioned "Natural” Jaw Tooth.

I have an "Upper” Partial (3 jaw teeth-2 on one side and 1 on the other). I Love it. It has "Hooks" that keep it firmly secured to the upper teeth. I take it out ONLY to rinse it after meals in daytime and at night clean it and put it back in. I sleep with it IN!

My Lower Jaw, I have a full denture! After years of pain, infections, Migrating Gum and Bone Infections, I had the few remaining front teeth removed and got a full Lower Denture. Hallelujah!

No more Pain! ! ! ! And- The Lower Denture fit like a Glove, I put it in at the dentist office when it came back from the Lab and with 2 tiny adjustments I wore it out of the dentist office and into the World. I do have to use a Denture Adhesive to keep the "Lower" denture secured because of bone loss in the jaw due to many years of repeated infections. The adhesive is not a bother to me and well worth the comfort and ability to eat darned near anything I want to now! The Lower Denture sleeps in my mouth after brushing at night also! !

I have had MANY compliments on how I looked after my New Teeth got installed.

I could SMILE again and go eat anywhere someone suggested without having to bow out or go and eat something "Soft". I began to enjoy life and friends and finally realized my Bad, Hurting; Ugly teeth had been holding me hostage in my own little Hidey Hole World.

this is not nessararly true, you could have partials, whitch are like dentures but you still have some of your natural teeth to anchor the partial denture in your mouth..this is better than a regular denture where as a person has no teeth because regular dentures tend to shift and move around causing sores in your mouth.. with partials, you have more support holding the partial denture in your mouth with some natural teeth left..so you are better off having teeth left.have a consoltation with your dentist about cost, if you like the idea the dentist could take impressions that day and get you started:)
