Changing up my coins into Notes?

Hi...I get coins all the time in my business and this is a perennial problem for me.

My bank (Abbey) will not take cash over the counter because I'm a business customer, but even if I were a personal customer I would be limited to 5 bags per day.

Local shops often don't take them because they are worried about forgeries.

Post offices require me to have an account with them.

Other banks also require that you bank with them.

The coinstars at the supermarkets take a hefty cut!

There has to be easy answer to this, but I've yet to find it. My own answer is a little cheeky - I go into Natwest, wave my (now defunct) cashcard, and ask to change my coins for notes on the premise that I'm taking my partner out to lunch! To be honest, it is far from an ideal situation, particularly as it often takes me 1/2 hour of queueing in my local Natwest, followed by a trip to Abbey to put the notes into my account there!

Note that firearms are, by far, the most common method for suicide (55% of all suicides are completed with a firearm). Thus it is imperative that a suicidal person not have access to a firearm.

Hanging or suffocation is used in about one out of five suicides, which is why you can never leave an acutely suicidal person alone for a second. People who have died by hanging have used virtually every conceivable thing to hang themselves with, including shoe laces, electric cords, belts, bedsheets, etc. Again, never leave an acutely suicidal person alone.

Poisoning accouts for slightly less than one out of five suicides.

The three most common methods of suicide – firearms, hanging, and poisoning – account for 92.3% of all suicides.

U.S. Suicide Statistics (2001)

Actual Suicides

1.3% of all deaths are from suicide.

On average, one suicide occurs every 17 minutes.

On average, an elderly person dies by suicide every 1 hour and 37 minutes.

On average, a young person (age 15-24) dies by suicide every 2 hours and 12 minutes.

Suicide is the eleventh leading cause of death for all Americans.

Suicide is the third leading cause of death for young people aged 15-24 year olds.

(1st = accidents, 2nd = homicide)

Suicide is the fifth leading cause of death for young people aged 5-14 year olds.

Suicide is the second leading cause of death among college students.

Suicide is the eighth leading cause of death for males.

Suicide is the nineteenth leading cause of death for females.

More males die from suicide than females.

(4 male deaths by suicide for each female death by suicide.)

More people die from suicide than from homicide.

(Suicide ranks as the 11th leading cause of death; Homicide ranks 13th.)

73% of all suicide deaths are white males.

80% of all firearm suicide deaths are white males.

Among the highest rates (when categorized by gender and race) are suicide deaths for white men over 85. (54 per 100,000)

It's so sad. I'm a white male!! I wish people didn't kill themselves. Well there are a few people that should have this fate.

Fred phelps, Ann coulter, Perez Hilton, and anybody who hates as much as these 3.

What is the most important problem in USA? Could you rank and compare the choice that I gave you?

What is the most important problem in USA? Could you rank and compare the choice that I gave you? Thank you...

That is a tough question to answer because it probably varies per person. Just in my opinion, I would rate it as follows:

1) Energy - we are too dependant on foreign oil. It adds to our debt and our relying on others. When something happens internationally, the price goes up. Not to mention the pollution aspect. We need to develop alternative fuels that will not only keep money here, but perhaps other countries would be willing to purchase

2) Illegal Immigration - the problem is that an influx of people tap the resources. They can get health care and education, but do not pay into the taxes

3) Economy/Federal Reserve/Recession - I see it as all connected and mostly cyclical. There can be some things done to stimulate the economy such as cut interest rates, but for the most part it will go its own course

4) Foreign Affairs - We get too deep into other countries affairs and should pull back somewhat. Let other countries fend for themselves. It is interesting that going into a country and removing a dictator who kills his own people is a bad choice in Iraq, but the same people who say it was a bad decision to get involved with are the same ones saying we need to go into Darfur and save them. If it is bad in one place it is bad in both.

5) Health Care - I don't think universal health is the answer. It will raise the price for everyone to cover those without insurance and the wait will be long. As it is now I called to make an appointment for a physical after injuring my knee and I had to wait 5 weeks - just wait until everyone is going to the doctor. The costs do need to be controlled and there are too many prescription drugs increasing the price

6)Water - I think that is becoming an issue as many areas are drying up. I live in the desert anyway, so my water comes from bottles, but places like Atlanta are running dry

7) Global warming - there are issues and they should be addressed, but in the long run the sun will expand and engulf the Earth anyway, so it will really have global warming then.

8) War in Iraq - it is costing a lot of money to operate and that money could be used elsewhere. I don't have a problem with the actual war, but the cost is very high.

9) Social Security - to me it doesn't matter. I have always assumed since I was a teen that it would not be around when I get old and I still don't expect it to be.

Notes - I would have placed two items not on your list as my number 1 and number 2. The first would be national security. If we do not protect the borders and guard the national security against terrorism then the rest of the issues don't matter. We think we are big and powerful, but it isn't unlikely that one day someone would not try to attack and invade us. If they are successful the rights and other issues will not matter because they will take them away.

The other issue I would list is the national debt. I used to not worry too much about it, but when you consider that China and Middle Eastern companies are buying large portions of our debt, what happens if they all decide to call on the debt? We will be screwed then. We must find a way to lower that number and pay off these other countries.
