Why does God answer the prayers of the wicked, like those who prayed for the World Trade Center to be blown up?

This is an age-old question: Why would a loving god allow bad things to happen?

The answer, in general, is that we reap what we sow. Man is by nature sinful and does bad things and therefore bad things are returned unto us. However, that really doesn't answer your question, so allow me to address those now.

First, you claim that God answered the prayers of some wicked person to blow up the WTC. A couple of problems. First, do you specifically know that they prayed? Second, do you specifically know that they prayed to God (I would assume they prayed to Allah, but that's just me) Third, you assume that "Yes" is the only answer -- many times god's answer is NO or WAIT.

You have already denied the logical answer to your question by ruling out "coincidence". You've also denied any rebuttal by a false claim that all Christians believe that all actions are an answer to prayer. That is not the case and is simply a display of your misunderstanding of Christianity. I am a Christian and I pray. I believe that God hears my prayers and will answer them if it is His will. However, sometimes it's not His will and He doesn't allow it to happen. That's a NO answer to prayer. If two people pray opposing prayers (me for rain, you for drought), one will be answered YES and one NO. That's all part of God's divine will. We can ask WHY all day long, but the answer is He knows best.

As for your next question, as to why God ignores the prayers of the kids in Africa, you have basically the same problems. First, do you have first hand knowledge that they are even praying? Second, do you know for sure they are praying to God and not some rock? Third, you have to accept that sometimes God allows "bad" things (in our sight) to happen. Again, we could ask WHY all day long, but that question is irrelevant, largely. When we see the needs we should be busy trying to help. Are you? If not, then let me ask you, why are YOU turning your back on the starving children in Africa?

Be honest with everyone by never

accepting the blame that is not yours.

Free yourself with the truth, by telling

those stepping on your toes how you feel,

If you can learn to love/forgive,

fully listen, understand and accept those around you,

you will eventually begin to learn how to love/forgive,
