Single Tasking Day

Research shows that multitasking is really ineffective. Attempting to concentrate on and hop in between numerous tasks waters down focus, presents delays, and makes points take longer to finish. Single Tasking Day, after that, has to do with embracing one and only one job. Make a selection, put it in order of top priority, and get started on a job-- and ignore everything else until you complete it!

multi-task vs. single-task?

Multi tasking has moved the world into a faster pace. Unfortunately now days people do not focus enough to do even the simplest task well. Being in the moment. Some people are meant to multi task, but we have made our society so that everyone must and some are not able to do so well. We should honor each others strenghts and weaknesses.

No some of our great discoveries would not have been possible without total attention.

I do not think it matters what gender you are. In the past women were thought of and not allowed the same education as men. I think we have proved it does not matter about gender or ethnicity. What matters is information and how it is used. Our skills we hone and how we apply our minds. Our intentions.

What Is It Like Being A Single Mom?

What Is It Like Being A Single Mom?

Single mothers are all different; when they became mothers, why they are single, what they are trying to balance, what support they have.

For example - a 45 year old single mum, who had her first at 39 is likely to have a relatively successful career. Do all her 3 children have the same father? Were they married? Did they divorce? Did he die? Were they artificially inseminated? Did she make the choice to be a single mum, or did circumstances force her into it? What is her family like, are her parents alive/around? Does she have siblings with children who can help her with childcare, or does she send them to a childcare centre. What job does she do?

I'm a lot younger than your assigned mother so my experiences were different - things like staying with my parents for a few months till I could get on my feet - because I was only 20 my parents were happy to help out.

I can tell you that there is almost always an element of guilt in being a mother, working full time means you feel like someone else is raising your children sometimes - missing their first words, their first steps, their first sentance, and having to rely on whoever is looking after them to tell you what happened during their day can be hard on a mum, even if she loves her job.

I was able to stay home with my first child until he started kindergarten, but my second was only 1 when I went back to university full time and I know that was hard, so for your single mum, it's possible that she was able to stay at home with her oldest children while her partner was around/supporting their family, but had to go to work full-time after a divorce and that is something that could cause guilt, however irrational it is.

Can u type down every single word you know to describe a dumb person?

No. That task would require several days, and I have a wedding to go to this afternoon.
