I'm flying tomorrow for 10hours w/ my 9 month old and I got so many different answers so I drove to the airport and asked TSA themselves and showed them what I wanted to bring, which is a can of sealed powdered formula(if unsealed you have to taste it), 8oz empty baby bottles( you can't have any water in them they will make you dump it out). But you can go to the TSA website and read about flying with children. You can buy water after you go through security or get it on the plane
