I have a very difficult relationship with my parents?

The reason why You act out is because of your parents. Your parents get under your skin and you go insane. Since this has been happening for so long now it has become a habit for all of you to act this way. It's a cycle. The Only way for it to Stop is for all of you to get help. This will take months and months of intensive therapy. Nothing will change until this happens. You mentioned that You are/were seeing a councilor. But you are no longer. It takes several councilors to find the right one. There are a lot of quacks out there. The only way a councilor will work is if you Truly want to be there. The issue will will have is that when you are counseled and then go home the havoc starts all over again.

You need to get away from your parents. You need to disconnect from them 100%. Until you do this nothing will change. I know it must come across as impossible. But there are people out there that will help you achieve this. Your first step would be to sign yourself into a a rehab that has a "Duel Diagnosis" program. Duel Diagnosis means that they specialize in family issues and underlying issues for what is really going on. You need to be completely honest with these people about your home life, drinking , cutting , etc. You will also need to tell them that you can't go home after treatment. They will place you in a half -way house . A half -way house is where a group of people live, work and go to meetings. People in rehabs can be really resourceful in the long run. It may take a few months to get situated. it might be scary and new to you. But if you want results and you want a good life you Will need to leave your old life.

People who stay in situations like yours end up arrested, in jail, dead or mentally insane.

Get the help now. If you are not sure which rehab to go to. Go to your local ER and have your self admitted. They will place you in a safe place.

Your parents are physically, emotionally and verbally abusing you. And you are doing the same back to them. This needs to stop! They can have you arrested for physically attacking them then they can press charges on you. You need to get yourself out of this environment before it is too late.

NOthing good can come of this situation if you continue to live with them.

You can change, you can be a happy healthy productive person. This is all possible with the right professionals. Get into treatment. It is your last resource.

Here are a few places that I can recommend first hand.

Make sure that you get into a program that specializes in Duel Diagnosis

Here are a few phone numbers of people who can help you right way. My suggestion would be to call right now. Any of these numbers can get you the help that You need.

Suicide: Don't let despair obscure other options

Despair and hopelessness may lead you to think about suicide. But you have other options, from weathering an immediate crisis to creating a long-term safety plan.

When life doesn't seem worth living anymore or your problems seem insurmountable, you may think that the only way to find relief is through suicide.

You might not believe it, but you do have other options — options to stay alive and feel better about your life. Maybe you think you've already tried them all and now you've had enough. Or maybe you think your family and friends would be better off without you.

It's OK to feel bad, but try to separate your emotions from your actions for the moment. Realize that depression, other mental disorders or long-lasting despair can distort your perceptions and impair your ability to make sound decisions. Suicidal feelings are the result of treatable illnesses. So try to act as if there are other options, even if you may not see them right now.
