What is guaranteed to make you smile every day....?

You make me smile everyday hehehe You have witty questions and a sweet soul, just a beautiful friend.

My sweet puppy, he is just unique and crazy.

The squirrels that chase one another up and down the tree outside my window each morning.

This man who says the sun doesn't shine until I am in his gaze.

Knowing that each day is a new day, and I can make it anything I want.....

HUGS

Great question :)

first day of high school.?

first day of high school.?

Just overall be yourself. Show up to school with a smile on your face and have a good attitude. Tell yourself the day is going to be fine and it's just like any other day (it really is). Regarding your lunch issue, I'm assuming some of your friends are going to the same high school as you; if so, find them. See where they are sitting at lunch. If none of your friends know, just choose a place to meet up after you get your lunch so you all can sit down together. Also, don't be afraid to go up to people and ask to sit with them. Chances are you'll make a few new friends and find some new pals to hang around with your old ones too. Like you, I always felt nervous about my first day of school my freshman year. I showed up, found a few of my friends, found out where they were going to hang out at and then had a great first day. In addition, don't be afraid to talk and ask upperclassmen where your classes are if you are having trouble. Talk to a few of them and get to know them. The upperclassmen are typically nice towards new students and are very willing to help you out. You can also make a few older friends who can help you out in the future if you're having any problems, and who knows, you might get to go to a few graduate parties (I did)!

Freshmen year may seem scary, but really, it's just another day at school except you're in a new school with new people, new teachers, and new students. Be confident, be yourself, be courteous, and make some new friends. Act nice towards everyone you meet and you'll have that much more people liking you and wanting to hang out and get to know you. First impressions are usually important in high school and making a good one your first day is always a smart thing to do. Be sure to memorize your schedule or put it in your pocket the day of or night before since it will be one less worry on your mind. I always was nervous when it came to finding my classes and being on time so memorizing your schedule is always good.

A very helpful tip that I have done is to take your schedule, go to your school, and walk through your classes. Walk through the front doors, go to your locker, and go to your classes like you would throughout an actual day of school. This always helps you remember where you are going and if you forget, you can at least have some idea of where you are heading. This way you won't have to worry about wondering where your classes are and can go to them easily on your first day. In addition, it gives you an opportunity to take your time and search for your friends on your first day.

I hope that you have found most of these tips and information helpful for your first day of school. High school isn't that scar, even if it seems to be. Being nervous is fine; it's just how much of those nerves you show. Just show up on your first day of high school with a smile on your face, be confident, and have a great time. High school is going to be some of the funnest years of your life; don't be scared of it! Have fun on your first day and always look on the bright side of things!
