Body Clip my horse for show?

Body Clip my horse for show?

You should clip him for the spring shows as it does not sullen their coats otherwise John Whitaker s horses wouldn't be clipped for shows.. Even if it did become dull then I recommend just clipping all year round just maybe half clips in winter?

Can Some one please tell me what is a Guitar Tube Amplifier?

Can Some one please tell me what is a Guitar Tube Amplifier?

There are two types of guitar amps, tube and solid state. Tube amps amplify the signal via glass vacuum tubes. You've probably seen them before. They look like this:

Back in the day, everything used tubes... radios, televisions, record players... anything that played sound. Tubes weren't the most reliable or practical things in the world though. They get really hot, so anything that uses them needs proper ventilation. They are also heavy, fragile, expensive, and they wear out over time.

Solid state amplification was like a gift from god when it showed up. It was cheaper, more reliable, lighter, and didn't get hot. Pretty much everything switched over to solid state amplification, but there were a few things that tubes were worth the hassle for, one being guitar amps. The distortion produced by a tube amp was much more interesting and dynamic than that produced by a solid state amp. There are lots of products out there that try to replicate the sound of an overdriven tube amp, and while many can fool you on a recording, I've never tried anything that can fool my when I'm playing through it.

The Spider is not a tube amp. It's a solid state modeling amp. Modeling amps have special processors that make them sound like other famous amps. This effect is marginally successful. I've never liked any of Line 6's amps. They aren't "bad" by any means, but I think they are best for practice, not performing live. 75W is more power than you will ever need; no guitarist ever needs anything more powerful than 30W.

If you're looking for something for practice, I recommend the Vox Valvetronix series. They have a 30W model (which is inexplicably called the VT20+) that often sells for less than $200. It's an excellent amp. It's another modeling amp, but it's a "hybrid" amp, which is an amp that uses both solid state and tube technology. It's kind of the best of both worlds. It's not as heavy, doesn't get as hot, but it still gets that really great distortion when you crank it up.
