Slow bowel movement and bloating?
It sounds like you have Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
I have some pointers for you to work through; the following 'foods' are well known to CAUSE gas and bloating :
1. If you eat any take-away foods like KFC, Hungry Jacks or fish & chips then stop doing so.
2. If you have carbonated drinks or fruit or vegetable drinks or juices, stop consuming these also.
3. Do not eat deep fried foods.
4. Do not eat 'foods' already made such as sauces or other processed foods that are frozen or in packets.
5. Do not eat biscuits, cake, white wheat bread, crackers, lollies, processed 'kiddie' breakfast 'cereals'.
6. Dairy products cause bloating. The simple sugar, LACTOSE that is in milk causes bloating in some people, this is known as Lactose Intolerance. It sounds like you may have this problem. **You will need to find an alternative calcium source. Cows milk that has had the lactose removed (Lactose Free Milk) is OK for you to have.
7. Fruits and other foods high in FRUCTOSE, another simple sugar, cause gas/bloating in some people too. Foods high in fructose, that should be AVOIDED by you are :
Fruit - apple, pear, guava, honeydew melon, nashi fruit, pawpaw, papaya, quince, star fruit, watermelon;
Dried fruit — apple, currant, date, fig, pear, raisin, sultana;
Fortified wines
Foods containing added sugars, such as agave nectar, some corn syrups, and fruit juice concentrates.
8. Wheat products cause bloating in some people. If you must eat wheat bread then eat wholemeal bread as eating all of the wheat grain helps the body to better absorb the simple sugars in wheat. It is best to find an alternative bread though, such as spelt, lupin, or rice/maize bread.
9. The above foods are known as PROINFLAMMATORY FOODS. These types of foods CAUSE inflammation at a cellular level and this unfavourable to a healthy body. Mucus bowel actions are a sign of inflammation in the bowel.
Foods safe for you to eat :
1. Fruits, two servings a day (serving = one cup) :
Stone fruit: apricot, nectarine, peach, plum;
Berry fruit: blueberry, blackberry, boysenberry, cranberry, raspberry, strawberry, loganberry;
Citrus fruit: kumquat, grapefruit, lemon, lime, mandarin, orange, tangelo;
Other fruits: ripe banana, jackfruit, kiwi fruit, passion fruit, pineapple, rhubarb, tamarillo.
Note that the above fruits (except for the banana) tend to be rather watery.
The above fruits are ANTI-INFLAMMATORY, they are safe/good to eat.
2. Watery vegetables, five servings (serving = one cup) a day such as zucchini, pumpkin, leafy greens, tomatoes, squash are safe to eat.
3. Eat lean beef once a week. Fish and chicken and turkey are also sake to eat. Pork products have too much fat and are poorer sources of protein as well. Fatty foods cause bloating.
4. Eat oat porridge for breakfast.
**Please note : you may be having TOO MUCH fibre now. Too much fibre can also cause gas/bloating.
It would be a good idea for you to visit a dietician for advise on serving sizes of foods to eat such as oats for breakfast; how much meat/protein you need each day and information on the types of fibre - insoluble/soluble, which foods have which fibre and how much you need.
Also your doctor should be looking into the cause of the enlarged lymph node ?in your groin/pain in your upper thigh and lower back. I had similar symptoms and I had a bowel infection related to Ulcerative Colitis.

often turn to bizarre ideas which defy logic, which do, however,
still become popular.
We had such a massively positive response to a previous article Free
List of Negative Calorie Foods, that we decided to dig around for
some more foods with which some people believe you can burn off more
fat than you ingest by eating them.
Our free list of fat burning foods, as you will notice, mostly
contain fruits and vegetables. There is a definite trend when
comparing fat burning foods lists provided by different sources.

Free List of Negative Calorie Foods
You eat an excess amount of calories. You get fat. We all know
that. But is there really such a thing as foods which make you lose
weight?
Today we'll provide you with a free list of negative calorie foods,
foods that are supposed to burn up more calories in the process of
digesting them than are actually contained in the foods themselves.
Are there really such things as negative calorie foods?
The idea that certain foods could take more energy to digest them
than they actually provide in and of themselves certainly took the
diet industry by storm. The notion that you could eat from a list
of "wonder foods" and not only not put on weight but help counteract
some of the calories contained in the rest of your diet certainly
has an instant appeal.
The sad fact is, however, that all foods contain calories. Some,
not that many. However the body has one thing which actively works
against you. It's the most efficient engine known to man. The
calories delivered by even the lightest foods render many times more
energy than is required to digest them.
There is one negative calorie food
To truly use more energy than a food provides, you'd in fact have to
be eating cardboard. 100% cellulose. And seeing that we humans
lack the enzymes to break it down (as opposed to cows that can
happily live on it), it would render zero calories. The process of
moving the cardboard through the body would take a small but
measurable amount of energy. The result? A true negative calorie
food. Naturally, it's one we'd never recommend you use.
A free list of negative calorie foods
However, in the interest of completeness, here is a free list of
foods which are claimed by some to be negative calorie foods.
