My husband is in the Military..he got into real trouble when they found out he wasn't doing things he was supposed to be doing to support me and the kids, they def do not like men to cheat on their wives. You need to talk to Fraud at HMRC. Something is wrong here. He has to register you as soon as you start work. The NI number is very important your credits are going to someone else. BR is the basic rate so any tax you have paid will be refunded. The most important part of this is your NI number.
