Is Jesus God? Consider this! John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

These scriptures speak only of Jesus Christ, no one else. Now to connect the dots, so to speak,

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Just think about it, the God of glory became a man, Jesus, with the express purpose of laying down His life for us that believe in Him.
