Best times to go to the zoos are in the mornings and early

evening. Most animals are usually up & active in the mornings.

They are feed early and exercised early. They tend to be

sleepy or fall asleep around noon or 1:00 and get a second

wind around 3:00-4:00 o'clock. Other animals are nocturnal

(sleep all day and up all night). You have a better chance

of seeing these animals awake the later part of the day.

(Or do an overnight a the zoo. A lot of zoos offer them

for groups).

Visiting Australia Zoo?

It's smaller than it looks on the map they give you. I'd say you need a full day to enjoy it, but not two days unless you really want to take your time and stroll around leisurely. If you want two or three days out of Brisbane, and you're driving, there are a number of other attractions around the Sunshine Coast you could enjoy as well as the zoo (see the Sunshine Coast wiki article).

If you're not driving, there is a coach called the Croc Express which picks up from all major hotels in Brisbane. Check the zoo website for details. It's also possible to take a train from Brisbane to Beerwah and then catch a shuttle bus to the zoo. Note that the zoo is approximately 80km (50 miles) from Brisbane.

Yea But, I Would Definatley Try to Get to The Zoo at 10am (Its Official Opening Time) and Get Your Animal Thing On Until Around, ehh...2pm If You Do/See Everything at a Relaxing Enough Pace

Then Leave and Head to Griffith By at Least 3 and Spend at Least an Hour or So

Then You Be All Able to Leave Just in Time With Still around 3 Hours Left in The City of Angels
