Trimesters are an arbitrary distinction. Nothing magical happens on the day the fetus enters the third trimester that wasn't present on the last day of the second trimester, yet you would give or take life based on that irrational standard.
I believe abortion takes a human life. That doesn't affect me in any real way, but neither does a rape 2000 miles away or human trafficking of teenagers because I'm not a teenager, nor do I have any children. I'm completely fine with the libertarian attitude that we shouldn't get involved in the private lives of others, but that only applies to activities that do not violate the rights of others. You can't extend that 'live and let live' philosophy to crimes against humanity that violate individual rights. If you believe all human beings have the right to life and if you believe abortion takes a human life, then you should care even though you're not personally impacted.
