One meal a day diet plan?

this diet plan won't work. you will be starving all day, your metabolism will slow down and it's not good to eat a huge diner. you should eat a big breakfast, a snack(fruit or veggie), a medium lunch, a fruit or veggie for afternoon snack and then a small diner. that's the way that all people should lose weight, don't try any type of diet that tells you to skip meals. you have to eat 5 or 6 meals a day to keep you full so you won't bing.

you can lose 10kg if you try hard. actually it's not that hard. if you make the right choices and improve your habits you will succeed.

you don't have to exercise a lot. 3 times a week for at least 30 min are enough. if you have an elliptical, you can jog or run or better -for me- go to the park to jog or run. it's really relaxing...

you shouldn't drink diet soda neither vitamin water. prefer fresh vegetable or fruit juices and of course water!

good luck!

“Everyone wants fast results and the calorie confusion of this plan burns fat, achieves weight loss results, and helps dieters avoid boredom," says Moreno, a family medicine doctor at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego.

The 17 Day Diet: What It Is

Cycle 1, called "Accelerate," strips your diet down to the bare bones of approximately 1,200 calories per day. It promises weight loss of 10-15 pounds, most of which is water weight.

“This phase cleanses, hydrates, removes unhealthy carbs, improves unhealthy eating habits, and stimulates fat metabolism," Moreno says.

In cycle 2 (called "Activate,") the food plan is alternated with a slightly higher-calorie activate plan. Moreno says the zig-zag between cycles keeps the metabolism guessing, helps prevent boredom, and continues to stimulate fat burning to yield about a 5-6 pound weight loss.

Cycle 3, called "Achieve," is the stabilization period that allows healthier foods with a slower rate of weight loss of about 2-3 pounds, Moreno says.

Cycle 4 -- the final phase, called "Arrive" -- is when you arrive at your goal weight. In cycle 4, follow meal plans from one of the earlier cycles during the week with controlled splurges on weekends to maintain your new weight.

Exercise at least 17 minutes a day during the first two cycles – primarily walking because of the limited calorie intake. In the later cycles, ramp up exercise to 150-300 minutes per week for continued weight loss Continued...

I broke a diet for one day...?

I broke a diet for one day...?

Diets are ruined when you screw up... and then you keep screwing up for like 5 days in a row. But actually, it doesn't sound like you screwed up that bad.

[[Example: 1 cheeseburger on one occasion v. a cheeseburger every day thereafter]].

Also, fruit is not considered a mess-up. Most fruits are actually catabolic, meaning that your body burns more calories digesting them than the actual caloric value of the food. Same goes for non-starchy veggies. Technically, you can and should eat as much as you want. Fruits and veggies will NOT make you gain weight. Ever.

You're doing good to stay away from the bread, sweets, etc. Basically, anything that is white, or can be white, is a no-no.

Keep at it - you really didn't mess up that bad. The cheeseburger example is a mess-up, over-indulging in fruit is definitely not.
