How do I tell my teacher that I don’t want to take part in a frog dissection?

Luckily for you, schools often offer an alternative assignment. I remember when it came time to dissect frogs for my science class, there was a website that helped simulate a dissection, with detailed pictures. Teachers have probably had to deal with a number of students disagreeing with the dissection assignment, so have probably come up with several alternatives.

I had a mastectomy 6 months ago and I'm not yet used to the sensation of the implant. When will I feel normal?

You should be examined periodically to make sure there is no fluid build-up or excessive scar tissue.

As far as feeling "normal" ... sadly, I don't think any of us who have been through any sort of breast surgery are going to feel exactly the same again. Though I only had a lumpectomy and node dissection, they cut a nerve in this surgery (it's routine) and the sensations may never be quite the same again. Radiation for some of us means long-term discomfort.

The key is to make sure that nothing's wrong, then just try to get used to the new normal.
