Would you like to live in Celebration, FL?
I lived there for 5 years before moving out of state at the beginning of this year. So I guess the answer is yes. It does have its ups and downs though. Which is why people either love it or hate it. For me, I rented an apartment for five years, and then the apartment complex went condo (a bad trend happening all around Orlando). Timing worked out though since we moved out of state anyway. Renters don't have to pay the homeowners association fee though.
What I liked about Celebration: It is a picture perfect town. Very clean and pretty. The trail around the lake is great for long walks. The small downtown has a few great restaurants and a 2-screen movie theater (we saw a lot of late night movies in an empty theater because the town is a ghost town after 9 on most nights). Celebration is a convenient drive to a lot of other areas in Orlando. The hospital in Celebration has an amazing fitness center.
What I didn't like: The problem isn't that the town is "too perfect" but that some of the idiots who live there think they are perfect. Not that this is an isolated problem to Celebration, but there are some pretty big inflated egos in the town. These people can be avoided though. A bigger problem that I had with the town after some time was that it started to feel like the fifth Disney theme park. At first, all the town events (e.g. pie festival, exotic car show, dog weekend, founders weekend, art festival, etc., etc., etc.) were nice. But after awhile it can get to you. Especially for bigger events, like when they make it "snow" (i.e. soap bubbles) on main street all through December. Or 4th of July (feels like all of Orlando is crammed into Celebration) and Halloween (they bus kids into Celebration to get candy from all the close homes that are easy to walk to). It is also in a touristy area, so traffic around Celebration can get bad and waits at local restaurants can be long.
If I were moving back to Orlando, I would definitely consider living there again though.
