I have a 2 1/2 year-old Scottie who, like your dog, is a chewer. When you look for the Kong, get the black colored Kong extreme. The red ones aren't as durable. Another toy my dog likes is the Nylabone wishbone. Like Kong, Nylabone has different materials based on the level of chewing. I've found the Dr. Noys Toys by Kong are more durable plush than most. These have replaceable squeakers. Some of the ones I have don't have stuffing, but are plush lined with faux sheepskin. The Spot Skinneeez have also served us well. I've seen the braided ropes made from fleece that your dog might enjoy as well, but I haven't tried these. I'll try to attach some links. Read the reviews to see how other pet owners fared.
