I have to walk 1.2 miles to school every day?!?

Walking about 2.4 miles a day isn't bad at all. I would make sure that i got up early enought to walk to school and in the meantime make aome friends that have to walk to school. Maybe you could make aome friends and start a carpool or raise some money and buy your own buss pass. Good luck.

walked into wrong classroom on first day of school?

walked into wrong classroom on first day of school?

consider that a blessing!

I have the worst luck with everything.

First Day of School- it was a new school, so i got lost on the way there! i was a half hour late.

Second Day of School- as i was walking up the slippery stairs (it was rainging) i sliped all the way down. in front of everyone. and spilled all the contents in my bookbag.

Third Day of School- i arrived to school without any injuries. BUT i got lost finding my class. I was about 5 minutes late so when i arrived to the class, everyone was already seated in the back. I had to sit in the LAST available seat; in front of the teacher's desk.

Fourth Day of School- The day was going well until lunch. i was walking with my tray and my bookbag fell off my shoulder. When i leaned to but it back, all the contents on my tray spilled over.

I did nothing wrong to anyone.

I'm actually a good person.

I honestly dont deserve all this bad luck!

but thats how the world works.

So be thankful; at least your not me..

What age should kids walk to school alone?

What age should kids walk to school alone?

I walked to school alone or with my sister because we are 1 year apart from 7 years old until i went to junior high to catch the bus. My grade school was right across the street from my neighborhood and it would only take 2 minutes to walk there and we had a cross guard to let kids cross the street safely. It's no big deal if you live close and can walk with somebody, I mean it's during the day and there will be tons of kids so it's a slim chance of anything happening. Your mom is just being overprotective but just let her know you want to walk by yourself or walk with someone from your neighborhood that goes to the same school. So I think if your school is close then you should be able to walk to it by yourself or just walk with somebody if your mom is that worried. Good luck!
