I don't know about it always being anti spanking..But I sure wish that schools and parents were able to swat again without the threat of CPS being called on them..If there was more discipline in the homes and schools we wouldn't have the problems with kids that we do today.

This is not about spanking or not spanking. Most parents work full time and are trying to make the most out of the little time they have left with their kids at the end of the day. When I was working full time, I didn't want to waste the precious little time that I had with my child by constantly disciplining her. I concentrated on the "really major stuff" and overlooked everything else. Overall, she turned out fine :).
