Skeptics Day motivates you to recognize and listen to your internal skeptic, and all of the hesitant people that you know. Not everything can be as good as it seems, some things are connected to be unsatisfactory, and points can simply get worse; right?

Why do true "Skeptics" have so much faith in science?

"Conventional medicine is almost entirely justified by truly bad science. And yet so-called skeptics, who are supposed to exercise clear thinking about all subjects, never seem to question the fraudulent science behind prescription drugs. The mass drugging of children for fictitious diseases, for example, seems to be okay with such skeptics, who are too busy bashing homeopathy and acupuncture to take an honest, critical look at the junk science behind prescription drugs, it seems.

Ultimately, these so-called quack-busting skeptics only question certain selected topics. All drugs get an automatic thumbs up, no matter how ludicrous the underlying science, while all natural therapies are automatically and routinely criticized by skeptics who equate their own lack of understanding with proof that something mysterious can't possibly work. They say homeopathy can't work, for example, simply because they can't find any mechanism to explain how it could work. That's tantamount to saying that nothing new will ever be discovered because skeptics already know everything there is to know about the way the universe works.

Let's face it: Neither conventional medicine, nor its promoters, has attained any real membership in the club of genuine scientists. Real scientists are people like Richard Feynman, a legendary author, lecturer and infinitely curious individual who never allowed his own ego to cloud his open mind about the laws of the universe. If Feynman were alive today and observing the so-called "science" backing conventional medicine, he'd probably laugh out loud at the utter lack of scientific merit found in the drug studies published in so-called "scientific journals."

Someday, future medicine may actually be based on open-minded curiosity about the laws of nature and how human beings may attain a higher state of health. But until then, we're living in the Dark Ages of medicine, where the power of the Church of Medical Truth seems absolute, and its own modern-day Inquisition conducts routine search-and-destroy missions on any health practitioner who dares to question the power of the Church.

Real science is about the search for truth and an understanding of the laws of nature, but modern medical science (conventional medicine) is little more than a search for profits at the expense of public health. It has nothing whatsoever to do with genuine science. And as the public wises up to this, the future of conventional medicine doesn't have a prayer."

**Summing up the position of the "skeptics" is quite simple: Nature is bad, chemicals are good!

If we only had more chemicals injected into more babies, the world would be a better place, they say. If we could only ban all plants, herbs, vitamins and supplements, we'd all be so much healthier because then we'd take more pharmaceuticals!

Seriously. This is what they believe. They openly admit this is their position.

And all you people drinking green smoothies, and growing your own food, and getting natural sunlight, and taking care of your own health, and drinking herbal tea... well you're all just fools, say the skeptics. You're all just too stupid to understand "real" science. Because if you understood real science, you'd give up all those useless herbs and superfoods and healing vegetables and you'd be taking twenty different prescription medications instead.

Are We Living in the Last Days?

These things that's happening now are the signs of us living in the last days. The Bible warns us. It tells us what those signs are.

"For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another. (8) All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress."-Matthew 24:7, 8. "For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom," there it speaks about the many wars the world will go through. The world will constantly be at war. War will never rest. "There will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another," every day the prices on food at the grocery stores get higher and higher. It makes it harder on the families who don't have very much to work with. Food is getting harder to receive. The earthquakes are on the raise. Have you noticed every year there are stronger earthquakes and they increase as time goes by. Here is another Scripture that will define what some people in the world will become. How they will change for the worst.

" But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. (2) For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, (3) having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, (4) betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, (5) having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away."-2 Timothy 3:1-5. Everything that's quoted ik this Scripture sums up how some people really are. You also hear about these things on the news. In verse 1 it says, "But know this, that in the last days critical times will be hard to deal with will be here." The more time goes on, life seems to get harder. Hut these are the signs of the last days. But Jehovah God will reward those in the end who are faithful to Him. If you see any Jehovah Witnesses in your area try asking them questions about the last days and what God will reward those with who remain faithful to Him.
