New Year's Resolutions Week on January, 2019: Anybody whose New Year's resolution was to quit smoking.?
New Year's Resolutions Week 2019.
Good work, lasting more than a month is pretty impressive :) just think of it as a minor setback and use it as motivation to keep going.
I made my resolution to not smoke in the car, about a week later I switched it to not buying any cigarettes. I caved and have bought 50g of tobacco since then, but I have cut down to about 3-10 cigarettes a day from 20-25. I don't really have the motivation to quit right now, aside from the money factor, and my partner smokes as well so it makes it a lot harder!
Try and avoid situations where you would usually smoke, and I found sucking on a lollipop or chewing gum helps because it keeps your hands/mouth busy when you really want a cigarette (that being said, I have sucked at quitting so far).
No soda New Year's Resolution?
Good for you if you can stick to it! Willpower is the answer, but it still won't be easy. Try to find a drink you really like that you can turn to when cravings start. The first couple weeks will probably be the hardest. If you make it through that you might find yourself not craving it as much. Good luck!
What are your New Year's resolutions?
