Seriously, though, I would go to the store in the pet section and get a stuffed cat toy, remove the eyes and tailor/modify it to suit your needs.

Moles are generally blind; some, in fact have no eyes whatsoever. Most have soft, short, velvety fur and large, pronounced front paws for digging and have a long, sharp snout. Some have tails, some do not. Some are marsupials, which, to me is very interesting.

There are so many types of moles that you would need to pick a specific species before you could associate any characteristics. Some are albino, some have no fur, etc etc...

I suggest reading up on them and see which ones you find the most interesting.
