How important is a father daughter relationship?
I loved my father so much,we went everywhere together when i was child,i had a younger brother and we went out as a family a lot but i loved it when i was just with my father,we had the same sense of humour, we loved the same films,we often just looked at each other and burst out laughing! I think one of the reasons we got on so well too was because looked so much alike,i am the image of him,he was so thrilled when i had my son,i have a lovely picture of him holding my son,when i was a teenager he would look at my short skirt and ask me if i had forgotten to get dressed! but he would then wink at me, i was a bit of a rebel at school,l and got into trouble dyeing my hair and wearing make up but he would say,what do they expect she is 14!,he was kind and generous,he would help anyone out,i worked in a library and one night a week we had to work until 8pm,he would meet me at the bus stop and we would walk home together,chatting all the time,lovely memories,he died much too soon,only 58, i still miss him every day.
