I used to eat cookies, poptarts, crackers. But one day I spilled OJ on the keyboard. The "W" "E" "R" "T" keys the space bar will not work right.

I went to best buys to get a new one. I have not ate with this keyboard lol.

The winner was whoever could make the most cunning and apt sentence, after solving the riddle.

The song's a cracker, hearking back to the glory days of pop music where keyboards and drum machines ruled the roost.

If someone is prescribed 800mg Motrin twice a day

If someone is prescribed 800mg Motrin twice a day, what times should they take them & is that the good stuff?

I've had 800. Personally I like the 600 better because that was 3 pills a day vs. 800 twice a day. You know that time where it's wearing off but you can't take a pill yet? The pain was more noticible with the 800s than the 600s. I don't know why, maybe because you can overlap them sooner.

Bite'em in half then take them every 4-6 hours. The pain in between will be better. Or if you haven't filled the prescription yet, see if they'll do 600's. The smaller mg you get, the kinder it is on your stomach too. Although you should eat a cracker or something with any doseage.

It's not a narcotic, no happiness side effect. An 800 Ibuprofin (Motrin) is the same as four 200mg Advils.

An anti-inflammatory is a good treatment for carpel tunnel, since the area is inflammed and that's what's causing pain. A shot would probably be a cortizone shot. Another good idea, although often just a bandaid, it doesn't make the problem go away. If it's keyboard related, make sure the workstation is ergonomically correct. All perpendicular angles. Knees, elbows, sitting... all 90 degree angles. And wrists should be flat. Arch the keyboard the *opposite* way from how it wants to go (dip down at the top instead of the bottom). Same with the mouse. Put something under it so that your wrist doesn't dip down. At the same time the height should have your elbow at 90 degrees. Keep those wrists as straight as possible. As a last resort for chronic pain they'll do surgery.

If she's pregnant, carpel tunnel often goes away after the pregnancy. Ask for one of those carpel tunnel splints. Sometimes all you have to do is wear it at night, and the pain will be better all night and throughout the next day.
