most days i feel so ugly, and then some days i feel ok, i guess... pretty. why?
I'm in my early 20s too, and trust me, I go through the same thing, but eventually, there's just one of me, and I love the way that sounds. I'm unique, and I accept the fact that despite all those flaws, there's something to me that's above average - my personality. I'm sure you feel the same...because I don't believe in just plain looks. it's nothing really, without a personality to go with it. I'm sure you can feel better thinking the same. So smile a lot, it always makes a person look warmer and prettier, and wait! There's one thing my ex told me to do to feel better. Trust me, it always works, even when I'm PMS-ing.
He tells me to look in the mirror for an extra minute, and pay one, genuine compliment to yourself every morning. Tell yourself you look pretty, or that you have a great smile or something that you love about yourself. It'll make you smile. Initially, you might feel a little stupid, but later on, you'll start believing the compliments you pay yourself, and they'll start manifesting in your appearance. What's best, you'll start feeling comfortable and at ease being what you can excel at being - you!!
Good luck, pretty girl! xx :)
