Hi there, all cold cuts don't freeze well because ice forms in to the meat and when you defrost it it turns in to something like a sponge, so much so that you have to press each slice between two sheets of paper towel to get the water out , the worst part is that even the best cold cuts will loose allot of their flavor once they have been frozen, you are better off marinating chicken pieces or a piece of seasoned pork belly and roasting or grilling them and freezing the portions in plastic containers that way you can have individual portions that you can take out and reheat when you run out of cold meat, think of what a hero with crisp veg, cheese, mayo and hot juicy chicken would taste like ? and it really is a healthier choice then most deli meats, not to mention allot more cheaper, just remember to never reheat anything into those take away plastic containers because they do contaminate the food with chemicals when heated,
