Cellophane Tape Day

In 1921, a banjo playing inventor began for that Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company, referred to as 3M. 4 years later, Richard Came left of his lab transporting the very first roll of Scotch Tape. In 1930, also, he produced clear wrapping tape. Without it guy, we’d be overall our Christmas packages with string. Celebrate Cellophane Tape Day by tape up whatever you can get hold of!

does silver duct tape really work for warts?

Yes they say it does, but here is the proper way to do it; wrap duct tape teo times around the wart and leave the tape on for 61/2days. Then let the finger air out for a half-day.If the wart isn't gone by then, wrap it again for another 6 1/2 days, but you should wrap the finger 4 times instead of two.

Another trick is to put an aspirin(crushed) to the wart, and then wrap it in cellophane tape or any other tape that won't allow air in.you want the skin to get pruny underneath so that the aspirin is absorbed. NOT for those who are allergic to aspirin.

Or try a paste made from water and crushed vitamin C tablet applied to the wart then wrapped in a bandage can also bring relief. The theory is that the high acidity of vit. C may kill the wart producing virus.

I hop one of these helps your problem. good luck

Candy Crafts for Valentine's Day

Create beautiful gifts for Valentine's Day using delicious candy and simple craft supplies. Enjoy watching the surprise on your loved one's face when he opens a decadent gift made just for him. Decorate and design your own candy crafts that can be personalized for every recipient.

Candy Bar Craft

Personalize your own candy bar wrappers for a fun Valentine craft. The basic supplies for this project are a wrapped candy bar, patterned paper, scissors, a ruler and clear tape. Consider adding glitter, ink pads, stamps, stickers, markers and solid color card stock to the supplies list to add extra decoration to the wrappers.

Cut patterned paper to the size of the original candy bar wrapper. Consider using scissors with a decorative cutting pattern to cut the paper. Wrap the paper around the candy bar, and tape it closed.

Make a label using solid color card stock. Write a personal note, and add decorations to the label. Draw hearts, hugs and kisses or roses onto the label, and decorate with sequins, glitter or stickers.

Kisses and Roses

Create your own bouquet of roses made from Hershey's kisses. You will need Hershey's kisses wrapped in pink and red foil, clear drying craft glue, craft wire, cellophane or plastic wrap, florist tape, artificial leaves and ribbon.

Glue two kisses together at the bottom ends, creating a rose bud shape and then cover them with cellophane or plastic wrap for protection. The rose bud is then adhered to craft wire using florist tape and fake leaves to create a stem. Make 12 long-stemmed roses and tie them together with a red or pink ribbon to complete the bouquet. It is not recommended that the kisses be eaten after creating these roses because of the glue. Consider using an edible adhesive such as royal icing instead.

Candy Hearts

Use candy melts and heart-shaped molds to make a yummy treat in minutes. Place a small amount of candy melts into a zipper bag, and melt in the microwave. Pour the melted candy into the heart-shaped molds, and refrigerate until hardened. Decorate the hearts using contrasting colors. Create decoration by using a spoon to drizzle the melted candy over the heart, or use a chopstick dipped in melted candy to make polka dots on top of the heart.

Candy Jar

Recycle baby food jars or other small food jars to create a decorative holder for Valentine's Day candy. Draw hearts or roses onto the outside of clean, dry jars with paint or glass markers. Paint the lid with pink or red acrylic paint, or cover it with a fabric scrap decorated with hearts or roses. Fill the jar with pre-wrapped candies or the candy hearts above.
