Buffet Day 2019 is on Wednesday, January 2, 2019: Has anyone eaten at a buffet all day long?
Wednesday, January 2, 2019 is Buffet Day 2019. How to Celebrate National Buffet Day in Vegas - Las Vegas Blog National Buffet Day
Everyone loves a buffet, so imagine getting an entire day devoted to 1! Buffet Day is all about hosting or attending a buffet of epic proportions – have a table spread with sufficient food to help keep you full for an entire day, and fascinating enough to create eating all day long exciting and fun!
Hahahaha! This is funny to me. Yes, people do this. I work at a buffet and these two ladies came in today at 12:38pm, long before my shift started. They paid the lunch price. I came in at 4 to relieve the day shift waitress and she asked me if I could keep the table of 2 ladies......yes, they were still there! At 4pm the price increases as now there are steaks on the grill and other meats available. The finally left at 5:45. FYI.....2 dollar tip!!!
That was pathetic! Come on..... you know their @sses HAD to have hurt from sitting on the hard chairs for all of those hours.
Some people have wayyyyy too much time on their hands! Lol.
Which hotels in Las Vegas offer the all day buffet?
MGM's properties all have their own programs. Each property has different prices. Not every one has the program. These are daily only which means it's only beneficial to get the pass if you start at breakfast and is only good for one of each meal for that day. Passes are only good at buffet purchased at.
Luxor 30 M-F, 35 Weekends
Excalibur 30 M-Su
Harrah's has one program for 7 buffets which is the best deal for variety.
Good at Planet Hollywood, Paris, Caesars Palace, Imperial Palace, Harrah's, Flamingo and Rio Carnival World Buffet. The pass excludes the Rio Village Seafood Buffet. Pass is good for 24 hours from the point you buy it. Good for weekend brunches as well. I did it on my last trip and if you use it twice, you break even. The 3rd time was like eating for free. 35 for Total Rewards
(free to sign up) and 40 for walkup. You can use it as many times as you like during the 24 hour period.
Is there any buffet all-day passes in Las Vegas that I can use anywhere?
No - the buffets are run by the resorts they are in, and they all compete against each other for business. The only buffet passes that can be used at multiple resorts are offered by companies that own several of the hotels - you can use the passes at any of those hotels.
Caesars group hotels have a 24-hr buffet pass for about $45, which can be used at any of those related resorts (Caesars, Rio, Paris, Planet Hollywood, Bally's, Flamingo, Harrahs...). That's not a bad deal if you'll actually eat 3 buffet meals during that time, and some of those are really great buffets (Rio, Paris, and Planet Hollywood are all fantastic).
That is the only buffet pass that is regularly offered. MGM has offered one occasionally, good at places like MGM, Mirage, Mandalay Bay, Luxor, etc - but it's not something I see offered all the time.
