Answer Your Cat’s Questions Day

If you are the cat person, you’ll without doubt question what your cat thinks about the problem every so often. What unsolved mysteries does your tabby ponder, hmm? Solutions Your Cat’s Questions Day is an opportunity to discover, and also to answer a few of the large questions. Take a while and try to exercise what questions your cat is asking, making a concerted effort to complete the blanks.

question??

If you are looking for a lightweight makeup that isn't very noticeable then have you thought about a tinted moisturizer? These are great for just lightly evening out the skin without packing on too much coverage. They also leave the skin soft and dewey looking. Benefit makes a great one that has sunscreen built in, so you only need one product and you are set for the day. Bobbi Brown also makes a fantastic tinted moisturizer. Another option is to make your own by using your usual daily moisturizer and foundation. Mix 1 part moisturizer to 1 part foundation and blend, then apply to your face like you would cleanser and you will get a perfect application each time.

Another option is to use an aerosol foundation. These give a very light coverage and give you a nice, youthful glow. These foundations need to be sprayed into a pallet first and then stippled or dabbed onto the skin. Use a sponge for a very light application, or a brush for a more extensive coverage. Both MAC and Dior make nice aerosol foundations, but stay away from the Sally Hanson one as it turns orange on the skin!

As for your mascara, if you feel that black is too dark for every day then feel free to try a brown, a brown-black or even a soft-black mascara. If you have naturally light hair, black can definately be a bit harsh. I personally prefer soft-black and brown-black to browns as I think brown mascara can look a bit unnatural, but give it a try and see if you like it.

As for eyeliner, if you are going for a very natural look and you have a fairly full lash line then you don't need it. If you are looking to dress up the eye a bit without doing anything too fancy, then liner can be a great option. Right now smudged kohl liners are very in, which is great for those who aren't the most adept at applying liner straight. The other liner look that will be huge this season is glossy liquid liner with a retro feel. Think heavy cat's eye liquid liner ala the 1960's. Based on what you have said, I don't imagine this look will be for you. There are not hard and fast rules as to weather you wear lienr or not. It is really your personal preference. I think it really does frame the eye beautifully and can help enlarge or adjust the shape of the eye depending on how it is applied, but if you have full lashes it isn't needed.

Good luck!

How do I cure my cat’s dry skin.?

How do I cure my cat's dry skin.?

Just answered that same question from another asker.

My kitty just went through with the scratching, scabbing and dandruff. We live in a cold climate and when we have to put the heat on in the winter everything drys out including our cats skin. Humidifiers do well in our home. Everything doesn't dry up like wood furniture and my lips. I don't need to use chap stick, which I hate anyway.

Went to Foster Smith, they deal in all pet products. Bought Vitacoat Plus and mixed 1/2 tsp. in with my cats dry food. Sales person told me that it should take a couple of days to start working. He was right. It only took and couple days, (gave it one more day for good luck) and all scratching, dandruff were gone.

Texas is a dry state, therefore your cat does have dry skin which produces the dandruff, which is dry skin.

Check out your local pet stores for a product that will rid your cat of dry/dandruff skin.

My Cat’s Urine Infection and Vaccinations? Advice Please?

My Cat's Urine Infection and Vaccinations? Advice Please?

Answer to question 1,

This does sound very much like your cat has a urine infection, all the clues are there first only bit of wee coming out,the reason is with infection the bladder becomes inflamed so making the cat feel like he needs to wee often but with being inflamed there isn't much there only drips, sometimes you may notice blood in it too,but to him his bladder feels full, and as for washing himself a lot i guess you mean his back end, they do this with bladder infections as it makes the urine more acidic,so makes weeing sting so he has a sore bottom so tries to lick it for relief, and yes i have experienced this with cats before one cat i had seem to get it often say twice a year, for the whole 15 years of her life, and the most common bladder infection to affect cats is cystitis, treatment is antibiotics off the vet and a painkilling injection,as for how to help him make sure he drinks plenty of water to try help and neutralise the acid in his urine, and get seen to soon as it can also lead to a fever in some cats,so by getting his to a vet you can prevent it happening to him.

Answer to question 2,

As for vaccinations vets do tell us it is necessary to do so,but my sisters cat who never had lived to be 18 and was a cat who loved the outdoors, but i guess she was just lucky,my cat kept getting repeated flu but after her vaccinations didn't so i assume they do work, but there are so many on offer these days but to be safe its best to get a cat done, strays carry all kinds of deseases,i remeber a stray near to where i live who was found collapsed, it turned out it had lukmeia,so it caused panic around here and everyone kept cats cats in,as they didnt have their vaccinations so after hearing about the cat collapsing it made me realise how important it really is for them to be vaccinated, and i wasnt going to comment on cats going out i have always had cat who went out, only when elderly were they kept in but with accsses to the garden supervised.
