Where are all the Jobs?

You are right - the jobs are in Texas. Last year my wife's employer went under. We barely collected one unemployment check before my wife found another job. Less then one month unemployed before finding a new job.

I will say this - I live in suburb of Houston and we are bracing ourselves because of Obama's stupid drilling moratorium. They also are not issuing the permits to the under 500 ft which are not under moratorium. Obama hates Texas and has done everything to hurt us. Example is only one Gulf state voted for Obama - Florida and that is the only one he has looked out for. Denying permits to protect wetlands and taking oil skimmers out of service to go back to port for stupid Life Jacket checks.

NASA in Florida got $10 million for it's displaced workers from the retirement of the Shuttle but no money for Texas.

The man HATES Texas.
